Towards a New Ethic of Shadow Awareness and Inner Work for the 21st century

As modern society degrades due to its inability to meet our most foundational human needs and gives way to ubiquitous parasitism, the opportunity arises for problem solvers, self healers, artists and philosophers from the outside to network and form the basis for a New Human Potential Movement of our era. These outsider “alchemists” are not part of the status quo and therefore recognize the blind spots, corruption and folly of the established culture, otherwise known as the Matrix. 

And in our modern society, where spiritual values that reside in the human heart and soul have been displaced by materialistic “science”, or boxed into formulaic religious “gospel” and coopted by the parasitic Matrix, the need arises for Nature to clear the slate to allow us to rediscover our deepest human roots and connect back to our primordial relationship with the source of all that is.

Our psycho-social manifesto

In the midst of this dissolution, the psycho-social alchemists, spiritual mystics and holistic problem solvers who are dedciated to becoming internally balanced, are now putting out their feelers, seeking the others who are spiritually and intellectually aligned to create a cultural foundation for what is to come. 

At the same time, members of younger generations who have grown up in a dilapidated Western culture and who see few healthy options within the Matrix are stimulated to seek ideas, opportunities and ways of living that are outside the current status quo. They benefit from our example.

4 quadrants of shadow work

Solutio is our effort to seed the movement, to share theory and practice and to encourage each other to act with duty and devotion. Our work is Integral in that it approaches our greatest challenges holistically, across four quadrants of reality - psyche, body, culture and civilization. Our work is also earthy, often dark and heavy because many of our most foundational problems lie within the shadow of the human psyche. We are shadow work practitioners and theorists.

I am Colin E. Davis. This project was developed with my partner Melissa Mari (1962-2025) during the period of 2012-2024.  Much of our ideas and practice are detailed in our books and lectures released during that period.  We developed a psycho-social “plug-in” that provides a cultural update to help us understand and integrate our shadows. And the feminine spiritual dimension transmitted through Melissa’s psyche that she called MARI, is an essence that I am still learning to tune into and accept as FAITH.  It is my sacred duty to carry on our mission of developing and sharing our Way of modern psycho-spiritual alchemy and to offer Melissa’s music, philosophy, and incredible example to all with eyes to see and ears to hear. 

This is not science fiction. It is the evolution of human consciousness.

This is the Human Potential Movement of the 21st century.
